Looking forward to a new season now with some wonderfull events set to take place, looking back we've seen some wonderful events based on the cauldrons and furnaces theme, with banners, animated films, live samba bands, dancing, and poetry. This coming year will see all these themes come together in one events with Cwmni Dawns bawb producing a themed dance based on all the work carried out previously.
On a personal note my first year as Head Custodian has been quite eventful, I've assisted in providing first aid to a German tourist who fell ill whilst visiting the castle, saving a life being one of the most fulfilling things I've ever done. We've also assisted in re-uniting an american visitor with his lost weeding ring, which had been lost in the castle for over six months.
i will post some photos of events throughout the year as they happen, so watch this space!

Looking forward to Christmas and thought it a good time to look back at the past year as Cauldrons and Furnaces has taken shape. Two projects, the creation of banners, run by Gwynedd County Council, and the making of a film, run by Galeri in Caernarfon, which were both inspired by the castle, are now complete.
